Q1 Interior transports the quaint country side to this generously sized modern bungalow with the faithful rendition of classical details alongside aged, whitewashed, or lightly treated varieties of wood. The foyer provides hints of the décor to follow by presenting an assortment of provincial elements, distributed evenly over a modern interpretation of a rural console table. The foyer leads into an open layout – interrupted briefly by a seating arrangement of leather upholstery in cream and a modern coffee table composed from dark wood at its centre. A white plaster extends only as far as needed to demarcate the lounge from above, leaving an empty double-height void for sunlight to stream in.
